Driving Range at 50-Acre Park Is Now Open ~  10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Get out the clubs! Summer hours at 50-Acre Park (91st and Rockwell) begin Tuesday, May 1 and are 10am-8pm seven days a week (weather permitting). Enjoy new putting green and refreshments!

Evergreen Park Farmers' Market, Each Thursday in July from 7:00-1:00p.m.

Yukich Field at 88th and Kedzie; Evergreen Park Mini-Bus is available for Evergreen Park Residents.

Garden Club of Evergreen Park, July 5th from 6:30-8:30p.m.

Bob Erlich will speak about attracting Monarch and Black Swallowtail butterflies to your garden. He will talk about the library's butterfly garden, and tips on creating your own. Everyone is welcome!  Evergreen Park Public Library

Stampin' Up Cards, July 10th from 6:30-8:30p.m.

Esther Thoele of Stampin' Up will teach you how to use decorative rubber stamps and accessories to make personal greeting cards. Participants will create different themed cards each month. Bring your own scissors and adhesive. Register for each class separately. Pay instructor directly. Evergreen Park Public Library

The Yak and Yarn Club is open to crocheters and beginning knitters as well.   6th grade - adult are welcome. Sessions are held in the library’s Reading Room. Beginning crochet students should bring an H/8 hook and skein of medium weight yarn; beginning knitters should bring size 8 needles and a skein of medium weight yarn. All others bring a current project you are working on to enjoy the camaraderie of crocheting and knitting with others. Evergreen Park Public Library

Book Sale Volunteer Orientation ~ August 2nd from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Volunteer to work at our annual gigantic book sale! Accept payment, re-stock and straighten sale items, and supervise student helpers. Volunteers are asked to attend this 30-minute orientation. Evergreen Park Public Library
